September is National Preparedness Month, and Ready or Not? will go on tour to help Texans prepare for emergencies. At these events, attendees can talk to preparedness professionals and pick up tools and information to help them stay safe.

In July 2010, the Ready or Not? road tour traveled along the Gulf Coast to educate Texans about getting ready for hurricanes. The tour stopped in the following cities: Galveston, McAllen, Brownsville, Harlingen, Corpus Christi, Victoria, Bay City, League City, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Pearland, Pasadena, Lufkin, Tyler and San Antonio.
