My Commitment - A Promise to Prepare

It takes more than simply visiting a disaster preparedness site to get your family ready for a serious emergency. To make the most of this program, you have to make a commitment to create and follow through with your emergency plan.

In this section, we’ll set a date by which you should finish your plan. Setting a personal deadline is an important step in realizing your goal of being prepared for an emergency. Posting your deadline somewhere visible (such as on your refrigerator) is a proven method for making your goals happen. Here’s your chance to make a real commitment to preparedness.
